Patan (Sanskrit: पाटन Pātan, Nepal Bhasa: यल Yala), officially Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City, is one of the major cities of Nepal. It is one of the sub-metropolitan cities of Nepal located in the south-western part of Kathmandu valley. Patan is also known as Manigal. It is best known for its rich cultural heritage, particularly its tradition of arts and crafts. It is also called as city of festival and feast, fine ancient art, making of metallic and stone carving statue. At the time of the 2001 Nepal census it had a population of 162,991 in 68,922 individual households.

Bhaktapur Durbar Square
Bhaktapur (Nepali: भक्तपुर Bhaktapur ), also Bhadgaon or Khwopa (Nepal Bhasa: ख्वप Khwopa) is an ancient Newar town in the east corner of theKathmandu Valley, Nepal. It is located in Bhaktapur District in the Bagmati Zone. It is the third largest city in Kathmandu valley and was once the capital of Nepal during the great Malla Kingdom until the second half of the 15th century.
Bhaktapur is listed as a World Heritage by UNESCO for its rich culture, temples, and wood, metal and stone artwork.
Changu Narayan Temple
Changu Narayan is the name of the deity enshrined in the Changu Narayan Temple, located near the Changunarayan village in Kathmandu Valley, Nepal. The temple is one of the oldestHindu temples of the valley, and is believed to have been constructed in the 4th century. Changu Narayan is the name of Vishnu, and the Temple is dedicated to him. A stone slab discovered in the vicinity of the temple dates to the 5th century, and is the oldest such stone inscription discovered in Nepal. The Changu Narayan Temple is one of seven structures cited by UNESCO as demonstrating the historic and artistic achievements that make the Kathmandu Valley a World Heritage Site.
Bouddhanath Stupa
Boudhanath is one of the holiest Buddhists sites in Kathmandu, Nepal. It is known as Khāsti by Neawars Jyarung Khasyor BY TAMANG as Bauddha or Bodh-nāth by modern speakers of Nepali. Located about 11 km (7 miles) from the center and northeastern outskirts of Kathmandu, the stupa's massive mandala makes it one of the largest spherical stupas in Nepal.
The Buddhist stupa of Boudhanath dominates the skyline. The ancient Stupa is one of the largest in the world. The influx of large populations of refugees from Tibet has seen the construction of over 50 Tibetan Gompas (Monasteries) around Boudhanath. As of 1979, Boudhanath is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Along with Swayambhunath, it is one of the most popular tourist sites in the Kathmandu area.
Antu Danda
Antu Danda, situated in the Eastern part of Nepal is one of the place of high tourism potentiality but un-trodden yet by tourists. Encircled by enchanting views, green forests and tea plantation, Antu Danda is the best place in Nepal to view sunrise and sunset. Best weather at all time coupled with hospitable people have given an opportunity to Antu Danda to become one best tourist destinations in the future. Infrastructures are still underway and facilities are limited but the Natural beauty of Antu Danda and its surroundings is just great.

On the border area of Shree Antu lies Darjeeling, the hill district of India, Samalbung VDC, and Mechi River in the east, the most magnificent tea estate Kanyam in the southwest, Fikkal in the northwest and Pashupatinagar in the north. The best viewpoint is at an elevation of 1677 meters in ward-number 1 of neighboring Samalbung VDC. The Antu Danda viewpoint is famous for viewing sunrise, sunset and the beautiful views of Himalayas such as Kanchenjungha (8586 meters) and Kumbhakarna (7710 meters).

Mount Makalu
Makalu is the fifth highest mountain in the world at 8,481 metres (27,825 ft) and is located 19 km (12 mi) southeast of Mount Everest, on the border between Nepal and China. One of the eight-thousanders, Makalu is an isolated peak whose shape is a four-sided pyramid.
Makalu has two notable subsidiary peaks. Kangchungtse, or Makalu II (7,678 m) lies about 3 km (2 mi) north-northwest of the main summit. Rising about 5 km (3.1 mi) north-northeast of the main summit across a broad plateau, and connected to Kangchungtse by a narrow, 7,200 m saddle, is chomo longo (7,804 m).

Rara National Park
Rara National Park is a protected area in the Himalayas of Nepal and was established in 1976. Covering an area of 106 km2 (41 sq mi) in the Mugu and Dolpa districts, it is the country's smallest national park. Its main feature is Rara lake at an altitude of 2,990 metres (9,810 ft). The park was established to protect the unique flora and fauna of the Humla-Jumla Region of Nepal.
